OTNet Facts:

1. Gigabit Everywhere - Each of Online Tech's data centers are interconnected with dedicated gigabit fiber - providing an ideal solution for client that need high speed data transmission between their production and disaster recovery environments.
2. Redundant Gigabit Internet Connectivity - Through 4 Internet Service Providers, OTNet automatically fails over between providers and network circuits should any anomoly occur.
3. 100% Cisco Production Network - each of our Michigan data centers have dual, redundant Cisco network core routers and network switches deliver a high availability network directly to your servers.
4. 100% Redundancy - OTNet core routers, switches and paths to the Internet are fully redundant with automatic failover. In many cases we use our redundancy to deliver “interruption-free” maintenance on core devices.
5. Client Isolation - Each client is placed on their own private VLAN configured at OTNet’s core and access switches, isolating each client from all other client's equipment in the data center.
6. Separate Backup Networks - OTNet separates the production and backup networks from each other.  OTNet uses a separate gigabit network for backup traffic at each data center so backups don’t impede your production network traffic.
7. OTNet Lab - Our network lab has the same routers, switches and security appliances used at each data center. We use our lab to test upgrades and patches before we deploy them on the production network, train our engineers and test our new products before we release them.
8. Data Replication- OTNet’s high-speed allows for replication of terabytes of data between data centers.  This unique capability lets you synchronize your production servers at our Exchange data center with your disaster recovery servers at our Avis data center over 50 miles away for warm-site fail-over.
9. High Availability- Unless you specify otherwise, all clients are deployed on dual routers within the data centers using a Cisco protocol called GLBP . You can even get multiple network drops to your rack.
10. OTNet Monitoring- Online Tech engineers monitor over 100 aspects of each network device (e.g. memory, cpu, temperature etc.) from multiple “probes” on OTNet and securely from Online Tech managed probes on the general internet. Engineers monitor these 7 x 24 and respond to any issues immediately.
    
    

Directly Connected to Your Location

Need high speed access to one of our data centers? OTConnect provides a direct fiber or copper circuit between your location and OTNet. Allows for rapid data replication from your production data center to our data center for disaster recovery.
 

Secure Networks - Advanced State of the Art Network Security

Provides Universal Threat Management (UTM) provides intrusion detection and other services to protect your VLAN against Denial of Service and Port Scan attacks. Charged per VLAN, UTM includes threats against DOS, Port Scans, and other attacks.

Secure Access - Virtual Private Networks

Online Tech offers VPN connectivity into OTNet and allows for secure remote access to your servers in any of our data centers. Available for laptops or servers. Use your internet connections to create your own private network with OTNet.
