OTMonitor - Colocation Monitoring
OTMonitor™ – 24 x7 Colocation Server Monitoring
OTMonitor comes preconfigured with a standard set of uptime, performance and end user monitoring. You also monitor over 200 additional services or resources for each server. Most common SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) monitored services are available.
- Web Servers – Disk, CPU, memory utilization or concurrent users
- Application Servers – Application service availability, disk, CPU or memory utilization
- Database servers – Database engine availability, database access, database connection, CPU, memory, disk space utilization
- Email Servers – Round trip and availability for POP, IMAP, Exchange 2003; or CPU, memory disk utilization
- SNMP and WMI – Monitor anything reliably available via SNMP or WMI
Upon finding an outage or performance benchmark that is out of range, OTMonitor sends a message to one or more of your staff's e-mail or cell phone. Unresolved issues can be escalated over time to other responders including Online Tech engineers until they are addressed. The issues are also logged and graphed so the data can be used for historical trending or to calculate service level agreements, uptime and other statistics.
OTMonitor is included with our managed dedicated servers and can be added to your colocation server for a small monthly fee. It is also included in OTManage- our Managed Colocation service where Online Tech also takes the alarms and responds first to any monitored event.
